The priority of research and development in the faculty is to ensure the sustainability of basic and applied science that meets the needs of society. We work on developing national research and development programs of line ministries and other stakeholders. As a partner and advisor to the European Union on research policy to address its global challenges. We are increasing the international visibility of the field.

The faculty’s main fields of research and development are science, engineering and life sciences, green energy, new materials and technologies, computer science, digital technologies, robotics, bio- and eco-technologies, synthetic biology, biodiversity, adaptation to climate and environmental changes, molecular and cell biology, genetics, genomics, biomedicine, chemistry, physics, and interdisciplinary research that bind natural sciences to other disciplines.
